Rob was a dedicated forestry teacher, a decorated lumberjack, and a determined climate advocate. He was also the inspiration for our founder Ellie to begin forming Everblue in 2017; less than a month after being diagnosed with cancer, Rob told Ellie that he wanted to travel the country and teach people about climate change. After Everblue was founded in 2018, Rob became a part of our core team, helping us grow into the nonprofit that we are today. Now, the Everblue team hopes to continue and realize his dream of using education for conservation. His heart for the planet and for education will always be a source of motivation and hope for Everblue.
